Youth Club

Projects in the field of education and welfare are an essential component of the defined objectives of the Cukier, Goldstein-Goren Foundation. Accordingly, the Foundation has established a Youth Club in Dimona. The club has rapidly become a focal point in the city’s social and cultural life and has expanded its activity to include sports and professional training. The Club is dedicated to the memory of the late Mordechai Meir (Max) Cukier, one of the founders of the ‘Sivey Dimona’ factory.

Bracha Goldstein Synagogue

When Dimona required support and assistance in the advancement of its spiritual life, the Foundation responded to a request by the city and built a synagogue, named for Bracha Goldstein (Avram Goldstein-Goren’s mother), to serve the town’s Romanian Jews. The synagogue is now serving Dimona’s entire Ashkenazi population.
